In March 2023, I was asked to join in a panel at the Zion Indie Film Festival to discuss the creative journey  between composer, director, songwriter and sound designer. It was really interesting to hear each point of view; how a score connects into the songs and how the sound designer mixes everything so the there is balance between the voices and the music. We discuss the constant struggle of budget and the need for ‘easy music clearance’ through a music service provider.

During the festival I also caught up with several filmmaker music clients, reconnected with old friends, and enjoyed meeting new contacts in the film industry.
